We have heard, modified, invented, and otherwise devised a number of one-liners aimed at boosting Senior Esteem, i.e. self-esteem among senior citizens, as well as esteem for them among their younger colleagues. The general need to reinforce their esteem is discussed in a previous blog, and there are many more blogs to yet be written regarding each aspect in detail. These one-liners are available on heart-warming coffee mugs, sweatshirts, mouse pads, and much more at our store. We are pleased to be able to present an array of them to the public, and surely the future will bring us more. Some are humorous, some are slightly defensive, but what is underlaying all of them is a deep perception of how life situations can make us wobble, and quick responses that are carefully designed to reinforce the confidence and self-esteem of senior citizens.
So here we go:
One 75-year-old is worth three 25-year-olds.
(Can adjust according to age, e.g. one 80-year-old is worth four 20-year-olds, 90 is three 30-year-olds, 100 is four 25-year-olds).
Of course I’ll live to a hundred; nice guys/gals finish last!
If I can remember more decades than you, don’t say my memory is fading.
Memory improves with age; today I can remember so much from sixty years ago, and once I couldn’t.
The older the vintage, the more valuable.
Yes, I walk with a cane/walker. Are you sure you never crawled your whole life?
Juniors, stand up for seniors!
Say a kind word to a senior citizen – Light up a Lifetime!
